Can I put parts in the dishwasher?

Some parts of the drinking fountain can be conditionally cleaned in the dishwasher. Other components should not go in the dishwasher, as heat, detergents, and water jets can damage materials, seals, or electronics.

To keep your Catson drinking fountain reliable and hygienic in the long term, we recommend gentle cleaning.

Dishwasher safe (conditionally):

Stainless steel parts like the drinking bowl or cover can often be cleaned in the dishwasher if you observe the following points:

• low temperature (delicate cycle)
• preferably mild cleaning
• no aggressive tablets or heavily scented cleaners
• Dry parts well afterwards and check

Note: Depending on water hardness and detergent, water spots may form. This is visually possible but usually harmless.

Not dishwasher safe:

The following parts must not go in the dishwasher and should only be cleaned by hand:

• Pump
• Filter and foam filter
• electronic components / control module

These components can be damaged by heat and moisture or lose their function.

Recommended cleaning (Catson recommendation):

For gentle and long-lasting use, we generally recommend hand washing with warm water.
