How do I set up the drinking fountain correctly?

Proper assembly is crucial for your drinking fountain to work quietly, reliably, and hygienically. Follow these steps to set up your Catson drinking fountain safely and cleanly.

1) Prepare delivery contents

Lay out all parts from the packaging and check that the delivery is complete.

Recommendation:

• Place all components on a clean surface
• Remove all packaging material completely
• Check that all parts are undamaged

2) Prepare filter

The filter should be properly prepared before first use.

Important: Soak the filter for about 5 minutes in a separate bowl with clean water before first use.
Do not soak directly in the water tank.

This prepares the filter optimally and allows it to be used correctly from the start.

3) Insert pump

Firmly insert the pump into the designated holder in the water tank.

Make sure that:

• the pump is fully inserted
• stably positioned
• and aligned straight

A properly seated pump is important for even water flow and quiet operation.

4) Insert filter

Insert the prepared filter into the designated filter holder and close it properly.

Make sure that:

• the filter is cleanly inserted
• the holder is properly closed
• nothing is misaligned or loose

5) Assemble the fountain

Now assemble the cover and water outlet according to the setup so that all parts sit cleanly and flush.

Check before starting:

• Are all parts correctly placed?
• Is the outlet properly installed?
• Is everything stable and without tension?

6) Fill water

Fill fresh water up to the recommended mark.

Important: The pump must always be completely covered with water.
A water level that is too low can impair function and cause noises.

7) Connect power and start

Connect the drinking fountain to the power supply or activate it (depending on the model) in the corresponding operating mode.

After switching on, the water should flow evenly.

If the water flow does not start immediately:

• Check the water level
• Check the correct seating of the pump
• Check the assembly of all parts again
